A steady IGCSE revision routine is less about filling every hour and more about choosing a clear next task.
This space is reserved for an approved, clearly labelled advertising unit after consent and AdSense approval.
Start with the paper ahead
Choose one subject and one topic that needs attention. Write the topic in plain language, such as “balancing equations” or “source analysis”. A useful revision session starts with a task you can describe clearly.
Use a three-part study block
First, spend a short period returning to the core idea. Next, complete a small set of questions or a paragraph plan without looking at notes. Finally, write down what felt secure and what needs another look. This creates a practical record for the next session.
Make practice visible
Keep one page titled **questions to return to**. Add only the questions, vocabulary or skills that need another attempt. This page helps revision become more focused over time instead of restarting from the beginning each week.
End before fatigue takes over
Finish with one achievable next action: choose tomorrow’s topic, mark two questions, or organise a page of notes. A clear ending makes it easier to begin again.
